RTIA Rwanda – Teacher Development & Digital Systems

Not a Bad Idea Ltd is contributing to the Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa (RTIA), an EU-funded programme supporting education system development across Africa.

​

In Rwanda, the project focuses on strengthening teacher professional development (CPD) and integrating it with the national Teacher Management Information System (TMIS).

​

The work combines field research, stakeholder collaboration, and system design, involving:

• national education authorities (REB, Ministry of Education)

• international partners

• teachers and school leaders across Rwanda

The goal is to create a data-driven, scalable model that improves teaching quality, supports continuous learning, and enables more effective education system management.
